🔑 How to Get Your Gmail App Password
AES needs a 16-character "App Password" to send emails via your Gmail, not your regular Gmail password. Takes 2 minutes.
Google requires this for any third-party app that sends mail on your behalf. An App Password can be revoked anytime without changing your main login.

Turn on 2-Step Verification
Required before App Passwords will appear. Skip to Step 2 if already on.
Open 2-Step Verification →2
Open the App Passwords page
Go directly to App Passwords after enabling 2-Step Verification.
Open App Passwords →Google may ask you to sign in again, that's normal.

Name it and generate
Enter a name like
AES Email Sender then click Create.4
Copy the 16-character password
Google shows a yellow box with a code like:
abcd efgh ijkl mnop
Spaces don't matter. You won't see it again, generate a new one if lost.

Paste it into AES
Open AES → Settings → paste the 16-char code next to your Gmail → Add Account → Save Settings.
Troubleshooting
I don't see "App Passwords"
2-Step Verification isn't on yet, or your Google Workspace admin disabled it. Enable 2SV first or contact your admin.
App says "Authentication failed"
Make sure you pasted the App Password (not your regular password) with no extra spaces.
Can I use Outlook or Yahoo?
Yes, AES supports both. Search "[provider] app password" for their steps, then paste it the same way in Step 5.
